Tottenham Host West Brom on Saturday at Wembley stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur Striker Harry Kane has supposedly told Mauricio Pochettino that he wants to move to Real Madrid.
Tottenham Hotspur are a Football Club that are pushing for a Premiership title.
When Danny Rose scored that volley against arsenal I spilt my pint all over the place.
Tottenham Hotspur Manager Mauricio Pochettino has developed a reputation for working with, and improving young players.
Since 2013 a total of fifteen players to make their debuts for England have worked previously worked with Pochettino.
Gareth Southgate has stated his admiration of Poch and has selected six Spurs players for the English national side in recent fixtures.
England host Germany on Friday and Brazil on Tuesday in International friendly matches. Mid-season International games, never mind international friendlies are simply an obstacle to Premier League teams.
But this International break could not have come at a better time for Tottenham. Several Spurs players missed the game with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Lloris, Vorm and Alderweireld were forced to sit out due to injury.
Dele Alli was also left out with a Hamstring strain, but Harry Kane and Harry Winks were played even though many felt they should be rested.
Kane, Winks and Alli have all withdrew from the England squad this week in an attempt to get fit in time for the Derby with arsenal.
Winks hurt his ankle during Sunday’s match and is likely truly injured, he may be fit for arsenal.
Pochettino said recently that England should “handle” Harry “with care,” but Harry himself declared, that he is not fit enough.
Alli’s strain is said to be a “minor problem”. If it was the Champions League Final, I doubt either Harry, or Alli would be staying at home.
Danny Rose has started the Game with Palace and is in need of some “match fitness”.
The games against Germany and Brazil, in our temporary home, could be the perfect opportunity for Danny to find his legs and burn some calories.
As usual, our consciousness during the International break should be directed at bringing all of our players home unharmed. It is refreshing to see players show such loyalty.
They could have taken a risk and in doing so risked our season. I would not complain if every break was this useful. We are giving our players a much-needed rest, and giving players who need it, valuable game time.
England have reaped the benefits of Pochettino and Spurs in the past. It is now time for Spurs to reap the benefits of England.
What do you think?
